Job Description

Data Architect We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Architect to join our IT Department. This role is based across our Administration Building with a salary on offer of £75,000 - £85,000. We have circa 1200 employees, a total of 8 premises, and we are dedicated to providing the best, personalised healthcare with a breadth of surgical and medical expertise.Job DescriptionAs Data Architect you will be responsible for the design, development, and management of The London Clinic’s (TLC) data architecture. This will be achieved by identifying strategic data requirements across TLC, and designing appropriate models aligned to organisational and technology strategy and vision.Job Type:(Full Time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week)Shifts: Monday to Friday between the hours of 8.30am to 5.30pmBenefits package:We offer a comprehensive package including a contributory pension scheme (total annual contribution up to 20%), Private Medical Healthcare, 33 days annual leave (inclusive), as well as a wide range of other benefits.Duties & Responsibilities

  • Formulating, translating, advocating, supporting and executing data strategy to achieve the TLC targeted charitable and commercial outcomes
  • Producing and communicating logical and conceptual data models of key TLC clinical and non-clinical processes and data flows using ERDs, use cases, process diagrams or other appropriate visualisation tools
  • Working with the Head of Cyber Security to ensure data security and standards are built into designs for data access, at rest, and in transit
  • Identifying key project data risks and work with the project manager to mitigate these
    • Skills & Experience
  • At least 3 - 5 years experience of defining and implementing data architecture solutions and data strategies within a Healthcare context
  • Experience of designing relational DBMS, data warehouses and business intelligence capabilities
  • Proven experience in a related data domain technical role e.g. developer, DBA etc.
  • Data analysis, synthesis and modelling using various techniques and approaches e.g. data profiling, source system analysis etc.
