Job Description

Data and Systems Analyst - Strong SQL, Systems and Project ManagementA unique and impressive opportunity has opened for a mid-level Data and Systems Analyst to join an industry leading organisation offering end to end business solutions for clients using the power of innovative technology and consumer marketing data. As the Data and Systems Analyst, you will gather requirements directly from clients, helping them to improve their customer understanding. Using your experience with SQL and systems knowledge you will create reports giving the clients actionable insight to elevate their business.Day to day duties will include:

  • Manage client expectations as well as internal and external stakeholders towards a timely delivery of the objectives. Regularly updating them with the process and supporting with any queries they may have
  • Gather the Functional Requirements Specification (FRS) with the client - create and deliver the FRS documents in detail and sign off at all stages
  • Work with testing team to manage the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process, delivering the UAT plans & testing scenarios/user cases which meet the FRS
  • Support the development team with data validation & database development.
  • Produce requirement specifications for development & testing
    • Skills Requirements:
  • 3-4 years experience as a Business Data or Systems Analyst
  • Proficiency in SQL (Ability to write complex SQL Queries and build projects)
  • Excellent project management skills - ability to run multiple clients plans simultaneously
  • Confident communicator - comfortable presenting analysis in a clear and understandable manner to a non-technical audience
  • Ambitious and proactive nature, with an attitude to succeed
  • Self-starter, happy to work independently as well as in a tea, environment
    • Desirable:
  • Retail or Agency background
  • Previous experience of CRM / E-Commerce / Marketing software systems
  • 3-4 years experience as a Business Data or Systems Analyst
  • Proficiency in SQL (Ability to write complex SQL Queries and build projects)
  • Excellent project management skills - ability to run multiple clients plans simultaneously
  • Confident communicator - comfortable presenting analysis in a clear and understandable manner to a non-technical audience
  • Ambitious and proactive nature, with an attitude to succeed
  • Self-starter, happy to work independently as well as in a tea, environment
    • Benefits:
  • 35 hour week (Monday to Friday)
