Job Description

DATA AND ANALYTICS PRODUCT MANAGER FTSE 100 REAL ESTATE COMPANYLONDON£60,000-70,000 + BONUS AND PENSIONA UK leading real estate organisation are looking for someone to lead the development and implementation of data and analytics products across operational teams in the business and generate value from themTHE COMPANYThe company is a hugely successful FTSE 100 business with some impressive clients and a great market position as well as a business model that is performing well through the current difficult times with investment happening across their data teamTHE ROLEIf you were to be successful in your application for this Data and Analytics Product Manager role, your responsibilities would include:

  • Someone to translate business requirements into a technical need
  • Taking responsibility above that of a technical BA or a tech lead for the value being achieved from the products that are developed. Making sure a tangible commercial value is obtained from the data products
  • Taking the initiative and having the vision to be able to not just gather requirements but also question them as to why and be able to have the technical knowledge to push back when those requirements are not feasible or alter them in order to create something useful but also doable.
  • Be technical enough to understand what data is available for these tools, the latency of that data and whether or not what is being asked is sensible and achievable.
  • Improve the performance of their data platform and reporting primarily with a focus on other innovative data products after that
    • SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEIn order for your application for the BI Analyst to be successful you will need;
  • Strong background in data and analytics specific product management
  • Experience managing products from idea inception through to delivery and after care in an agile environment
  • A strong knowledge of how data flows through a business from the ETL and data warehousing through to the analytics, reporting and data visualisation
  • Proven experience solving commercial data problems using data and data products and being able to deliver measurable value from these innovative products
  • A knowledge of ETL tools, data warehousing, BI and the cubing of data and being technically strong enough to wireframe a dashboard in Power BI
