Job Description

We are currently recruiting in London for a Data Analytics Manager - this is a client-dedicated role that supports the clients Legal department and discovery team with advanced techniques to cull data sets to reduce time and cost.This role will interpret requirements and apply technology and other resources to identify and cull potentially relevant data for review and production.In addition to providing advice on the use of filtering and keyword search terms, this role will also apply more advanced search methodologies and technology assisted review (TAR) techniques like predictive coding.Responsibilities:

  • Assist in fulfilling the clients strategic discovery goals and objectives
  • Aid attorneys, paralegals, and outside counsel in establishing and applying effective data culling approaches
  • Serve as the point-of-contact for analytics activities and strategic insight
  • Track industry trends in analytics, including best practices
  • Apply critical thinking skills and legal/discovery knowledge to case-specific circumstances to address the goals
  • Leverage technology to increase the efficiency of discovery workflows in order to meet counsels legal deadlines
  • Implement and manage TAR workflows
  • Manage the Brainspace build process, applying and championing Brainspace
  • Manage advanced culling processes, as well as workflows for search term analysis, data gap analysis, communications
Additional Responsibilities/Details:
  • Stay up to date on major analytics tools, including completing certifications
  • Identify the advantages, disadvantages, and limitations of various analytics techniques
  • Effectively and clearly communicate with counsel regarding analytics strategies
  • Apply analytics tools to support immediate case assessment activities
  • Monitor and complete service desk ticket requests
