As part of ongoing investment in RSM’s data analytics capabilities, the need has arisen for an experienced Data Analytics Delivery Manager to join our National TechnologyDepartment.Our Data Analytics team is responsible for RSM’s enterprise data platform, providing a single source of data for analytics and insights used across the firm, as well as capabilities to support internal and external service lines in the development of theiranalytics use cases.Role descriptionWe are seeking an experienced Data Analytics Delivery Manager to manage the on-going expansion of our Analytics-as-a-Service offerings delivered through our Enterprise Data Platform.You will have excellent BI & analytics experience gained from multiple implementations. The role will require you to use your business knowledge, technical expertise, and soft skills to support RSM service line delivery teams to develop Analytics-as-a-Servicesolutions and to successfully deliver Management Information projects across a range of industry sectors.You will be skilled in capturing business requirements and conducting detailed data analysis. You will have a strong background in data integration design and development. You will have experience of designing and developing dimensional data models, and buildingreports, dashboards and scorecards using a variety of tools.You will work closely with internal service lines, data analysts, data engineers, architects, and infrastructure specialists to deliver Management Information Analytics-as-a-Service initiatives for the firm and for our clients.The Data Analytics Delivery Manager will be expected to:

  • Act as the champion within the central data analytics team for Analytics-as-a-Service solutions delivering Management Information dashboards to clients through RSM’s Enterprise Data Platform
  • Support the RSM service line data analytics teams in the design and development of their Analytics-as-a-Service solutions
  • Prioritise, design and deliver standard integrations for commonly used business applications
  • Generate, maintain, and own digital product roadmaps, across the suite of Analytics-as-a-Service products
  • Promote the use of RSM’s common data model, leveraging Engine B as a foundation
  • Develop the RSM playbook for establishing and rolling-out Analytics-as-a-Service solutions to deliver Management Information dashboards to clients
  • Work with service line data analytics teams to establish appropriate deployment and support processes for Analytics-as-a-Service solutions delivering Management Information dashboards to clients
  • Own the support process for Analytics-as-a-Service issues raised by clients or the RSM service line data analytics teams through defining and implementing specific support frameworks in line with the overall RSM technology support model
  • Work with other National Technology teams to coordinate upgrades and patches to the RSM Analytics-as-a-Service environment that supports the delivery of Management Information dashboards to clients
  • Act as liaison between RSM teams and 3rd parties to identify future enhancements, the resolution of issues, influence 3rd party roadmaps to the benefit of RSM
  • Spot opportunities for standardising, optimising, and automating Analytics-as-a-Service processes for the delivery of Management Information dashboards
  • Encourage the development of a data-centric culture within RSM by providing Analytics-as-a-Service user support, guidance, and training to service line data analytics teams
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders across the business, gathering short and long-term requirements and providing on going Analytics-as-a-Service support

CandidateThis role is in an agile team, collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders so excellent communication skills are essential. The right candidate will be experienced in working with large and disparate data sets, uncovering insights through Analytics-as-a-Servicesolutions. They should bring demonstrable experience of delivering against agreed requirements and have a desire and passion for continual development, driving business value from our chosen tools.Essential skills and experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject (such as business, data analytics, computer science, or information systems)
  • Proven track record of executing full life cycle data warehouse and business intelligence/analytics implementations (ideally 10+ years’ experience) under different process frameworks of lifecycles (i.e. Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall)
  • A deep understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes and data modelling
  • Expertise in Database Design and Development in Azure SQL Server, Azure Data Warehouse, MS SQL Server and be proficient in creating highly flexible Database Architecture
  • Hands on experience using Alteryx for data preparation, cleansing, reconciliation, and integration
  • A deep understanding of Power BI for data modelling and creating visualisations
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally
  • Ability to interact effectively with internal and external resources at all organisational levels
  • Excellent project management, organisation, and follow-up skills
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to work in virtual teams and independently and to be a team playerProficient in MS Visio, Excel, PowerPoi
