Job Description

Data Officer (Raisers egde)£225-£2506 Month ContractClient:

  • My client is a leading charity who are looking for a Data Officer (Raisers egde) to Design, schedule and deliver complex data selections for communications to the charities supporters.
Your Role:
  • Work with internal teams (Fundraising, Volunteering and Campaigning) to design and deliver complex segmented data selections utilising FastStats as the data delivery tool.
  • Assist with the scheduling and delivery of a wide range of supporter communications - marketing and administrative, planned and reactive, by email, mail, telephone and digital.
  • Meet with data requesters to determine their selection criteria and create data brief documentation.
  • Design segmentation in the context of existing analysis and carry out additional analysis as required.
  • Assist with data integrity and quality checks related to data selections, ensuring that new selections are checked and tested before delivery.
  • Develop an understanding of all aspects of data processing including our bespoke import application and standard import and export tools, working with colleagues to identify and resolve data issues at any stage of the process.
What you need to be successful:
  • Substantial experience in running advanced features of Raisers Edge (or similar CRM)
  • Experience of using FastStats as a data delivery tool
  • An understanding of the underlying principles of relational databases
  • Skilled in making complex database selections for marketing purposes
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to a wide range of audiences when delivering training and resolving support requests
  • Skilled in improving data-related business processes
  • Understanding of database marketing techniques including segmentation and supporter journeys
