Job Description

Data Analyst - London (Hybrid) - £45,000 DOERole: Data AnalystLocation: London (Hybrid 50% in office) Salary: £45,000 (Depending on experience)Sponsorship: Cannot be providedWe are looking for an experienced Data Analyst with a keen interest or experience with Data Science, to join a national leader in business consulting and market research solutions for the Entertainment industry. Specifically, the role will involve

  • Were looking for a curious and creative data analyst who can combine a deep understanding of maths and data science with the art of analysis and storytelling.
  • You will be delivering on the more advanced and data-led aspects of research studies, managing and coaching team members and developing entirely new approaches and techniques.
  • This is a data analyst role but, of course, that can mean many things. For this role, it means being at the wilder frontier of data analysis. Rather than having a set approach, youll often be faced with a blank piece of paper and have to figure out thesolution from scratch.
  • Youll be involved in answering the trickier questions; often needing to creatively apply familiar techniques or experiment with new ones before you find the approach that can crack it wide open.
Were excited if you have:
  • PreviousCareer - Background in advanced data analysis
  • Education - A knowledge of maths, statistics or data science.
  • CodingLanguages - Advanced and comprehensive experience of using R and/or Python
  • IndustryrelevantExp. - Market research style projects.
  • Ideal - 3+ years of experience using advanced techniques to address client objectives. (This doesnt necessarily need to be market research, but should be related or transferable to the industry)
  • SoftSkills - Be able to take a novel, creative approach to analysis and briefs, applying rigour and pragmatism as appropriate
  • Extras - SQL or JavaScript experience is useful but not core.
