Job Description

The Company:My Client is a rapidly growing, global financial services training organisation servicing the worlds largest financial institutions from Investment Banks through to private banks and asset managers. Operating from locations across the globe, my client hasa world class reputation and is an emerging leader in the field of financial training. Due to continued success over several years, the business has grown exponentially and is now on the lookout for a Data Analyst to be responsible for all data activitiesacross the firm.The Role:In this role you will have varied responsibilities that will range from but will not be limited to:

  • Establishing efficient processes and systems for data collection.
  • Identifying areas to enhance efficiency and automation of data collection and/or scrubbing processes.
  • identify patterns & trends in data sets, to support decision-making, resource planning and ongoing improvements.
  • Development, maintenance, and implementation of data analysis methods and processes
  • Contributing to the improvement of existing databases, and other systems
  • Communicating insights from analysis via custom reports for each department of the firm.
The Person:This role is very much suited to an individual looking to take a next step up in their career. The ideal candidate will be someone who has circa 2 years experience in a similar analytical role. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge in dataanalysis & visualisation tools, including Excel / VBA / Power BI / Qlik / Tableau (these/or similar experience are essential) and ideally you will have knowledge of Python / R, however this is not essential. If you have worked with corporate tools such asSAGE and Salesforcethis will be extremely advantageous. Finally, exceptional communications skills are necessary to present your findings back to senior executives within the firm.The Salary and Perks:For this role, my client is offering up to £45K Basic depending on the level of your experience.
