Job Description

Data Analyst - SQL/Excel/Python/Big Data sought by leading investment bank based in London.**Inside IR35 - 2/3 days a week onsite**Key Skills Required

  • 5+ years Data Analysis experience
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with attention to detail
  • Extensive SQL experience
  • Highly proficient in use of Excel for data analysis
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, to effectively produce reports, documentation, and communicate with senior management. Ability to seamlessly communicate complex technical issues to non-technical colleagues
  • Self starter with the ability to work independently
Key Skills Preferred
  • Experience within an investment banking or financial services environment
  • Data Visualisation experience
  • Experience in writing code in Python to automate processes
  • Hadoop / Big Data domain experience and exposure to Hive, Impala, and Spark ecosystem technologies"
