Job Description

GRADUATE DATA ANALYSTUP TO £35,000LONDON (HYBRID)OverviewHarnham is working with a well-established company on a Graduate Data Analyst role. This company works with corporate clients and law firms to quantify how much they paid for the products and services they were overcharged for. They are looking for an Analystto collect, extract, prepare, analyse and report data.The roleYou will:

  • Review the datasets that we receive from clients and their processing partners to ensure they are accurate
  • Provide concise data reports, typically delivered as accurate, well-structured, annotated Excel spreadsheets
  • Make and justify assumptions required to complete analyses where full information is not otherwise available.
  • Prepare complete and accurate reports, including sources used, calculations and assumptions made.
  • Produce reports in Word that present easy to understand facts and communicate precise sets of findings.
The experienceYou will ideally have:
  • Experience defining data requirements and managing large datasets with relevant analytical and data management applications (e.g., SAS, Stata, Python)
  • High level of Microsoft Office experience. Advanced Level Microsoft Excel skills to prepare and present data are a must (e.g., Pivot Tables, Array Formulas, Nested Logical Functions)
  • Ability to work with incomplete information, establish frameworks to develop assumptions to fill the relevant gaps
  • Experience working in a customer-focused environment, working with the client and their partners to obtain and validate the data
  • Additional programming skills that allow us to efficiently deal with unstructured data, scale the business and improve the efficiency of our operation
