Job Description

The candidate will work with many of Norton Rose Fulbrights legal and business services teams and will be part ofa wider data community that includes the firms Global Data Team to increase capability as well as develop and share best practices.The Role:

  • Provide a bridge between business or legal and data teams, translating their requirements into queries and scripts Accomplish or support the following technical tasks: prepare, model, visualize and analyse the data Deploy and maintain assets Ensure your and your colleagues compliance with data governance and security policies Ideate and test ways to enhance the firms data quality and reliability Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members on projects and initiatives Enhance processes relating to collecting, processing, cleansing & verifying data Contribute to knowledge initiatives and training programmes to improve the firms data literacy and knowledge of analysis tools and techniques Keep up to date with academic and industry developments in data analytics
Skills and Experience: Previous experience as a data analyst or in a similar role Degree in Computer Science, IT, Statistics, Masters degree is a plus Advanced knowledge of PowerBI and MS Excel Knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Java and Python) Hands-on experience with SQL database design Great numerical and analytical skills Ability to learn new tools and approaches quickly Empathetic and supportive of others working in uncertaintyOur clients come first and whilst we have a high performance culture and work hard as a team, in return we offer range of competitive benefits including:
