Role: Cyber Security Manager X 2 REF 70592 Contract Length: 6 months Location: Hybrid/London or York 1–2 days per week in office IR35: Inside Pay Rate to Intermediary: Market Rate Security Clearance: SC requested Spinwell is recruiting for a Cyber SecurityManager for an excellent opportunity within the public sector. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CYBER SECURITY MANAGER The Cyber Manager deals with security matters in relation to information Systems used by client. Technological and commercial developments mean thatcloud based services are used that require Departmental Security Unit (DSU) to understand and configure software at a detailed level. The Cyber Manager will take a lead role for specific systems, some very major e.g. Office365. This is a specialist role requiringthe Cyber Manager to make considered assessments about risks involved and business benefits achievable, and take action accordingly. The role will also be responsible for reporting on internet based threats, engaging with the business to develop an efficientand safe cyber culture. As a member of the Departmental Security Unit, the post–holder will assist with the implementation and maintenance of personnel security, physical security and information security standards within the client, including InformationAssurance reporting and compliance monitoring and assisting the Departmental Security Officer (DSO) with integrity and leak investigations. SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE CYBER SECURITY MANAGER Proven ability to identify, investigate and remediate complex cybersecurity issues Firewall and network security Experience working with one or more cloud environment An understanding of key attacker techniques and capabilities models; and the various Cyber Kill Chain frameworks Experience in securing cloud platform; EncryptionKnowledge in threat modelling and ethical hacking Extensive experience working with SIEM solutions Basic experience in some scripting languages If you are a Cyber Security Manager, apply now or send your CV to Spinwell!
