Job Description

Cyber Security Engineer x3My client is looking to hire a number of cyber security engineers to join their team. These engineers will help secure and protect the companys infrastructure and systems, data, networks from any threats and malicious attacks. The role is a hands on engineeringcoupled with information security experience.Experience

  • Any experience with SIEM tools
  • Network intrusion, packet capture, IPS / IDS
  • Endpoint technology - support and implementation
  • Email security - supporting and implementation
  • Any cloud security experience within a windows environment, Azure security
  • Any experience with Vulnerability management and the use of these tools and IAM (identity access management)
  • Any experience with threat modelling
  • Any experience with automation / scripting
  • Knowledge and experience of security and risk management methodologies, frameworks and standards, such the NIST Cyber Security Framework, ISO27001, ISO31000, ITIL, OWASP and MITRE Attack framework
  • The ability to analyse, report and prevent cyber breaches
  • Documentation and managing stakeholders
  • Participating in wider meetings to ensure solutions designs are secure, mitigating cyber risk
You do not need to have all the experience above and you may be stronger in some areas and not others.The salary on offer is between £55,000 - £60,000 including allowances + 28 day holidays plus bank holidays, pension and other benefits. My client requires candidates to attend the London office up to twice a month and allows remote working at other times. Candidatesliving anywhere in the UK can be considered for these roles.
