Cyber OT Network AnalystLocation: LondonLength: 7 monthsRate: £237-260 per day (inside IR35)Hours: 9am6pm Analysis

Support handover activities from Discovery to Remediation ensuring the solution proposal meets the standards and the solution requirements to achieve NSP is clear and captured
Collate all required information from our clients D&T, sites and vendors teams to support design phases
Validate technical information provided to ensure accuracy
Work with the solution architect to confirm any surveys required and create the detailed scope/requirements ready for the supplier to provide SoWs and costs
Conduct switch and port config analysis (read only) - if approved by Network CoE

Design

Support the solution architects during the creation of HLD and LLDs where needed
Challenge design concepts where appropriate and ensure it meets the engineering network standards
Advise the PM of any potential scope creep
Help to review and confirm the design meets the requirements to deliver NSP
Validate the hardware BoM needed to deliver the solution and communicate suppliers when needed

Deployments, Implementations & Testing

Work with sites to plan out, document and coordinate preparatory works to deliver the solution inc (but not limited to)
Power
Comms room and cabinet availability and space
Network ports, patch panels
Locations for new on prem hardware
Propose and agreed routes for cabling (likely in conjunction with site and vendor)
Where required define and raise IMACDs for small changes
Where required raise service requests for items like PAMs, user creations etc if needed
Working with D&T, Site and vendors to ensure implementation steps/plans for any interventions on the networks or site systems are created including back out steps and regression testing plans. Test plans to ensure the required changes have been successfullydeployed will also be required
Work directly with and support D&T, site teams and vendors during implementations to ensure these are delivered to the requirements
Coordinate and support the troubleshooting of technical issues post deployment
Weekly team meetings and/or daily stand ups where required
On site visits and face to face team meetings may be required depending on resource location and available budget for T&E

Skills:

Must have a working understand of networking concepts and technologies with some previous hands-on experience of producing designs and/or implementations
Experience with developing and coordinating the production and execution of network implementation plans and test scripts
Able and willing to perform a hybrid technical and coordination role as task and people management will be required e.g. lining up site implementations, coordinating and supporting test execution.
Have worked on projects within operational technology (OT) environments and OT teams (desirable)
Familiar with basic OT concepts and the purdue model (desirable)

Education:

Must have a degree level qualification in networking inc security, and/or Cisco CCNA certified
