Consumer Banking Our Consumer business, Marcus by Goldman Sachs, serves millions of customers across multiple products including lending, deposits, and financial tools. Our goal is to build a leading consumer digital-banking platformand to do this we have two self-reinforcing consumer strategies: direct, where we serve consumers through Marcus, and embedded, where we deliver our products through partner ecosystems. Our partners include Apple, GM, Amazon, Walmart, and Jet Blue and we arein active dialogue with additional companies operating in the consumer economy. RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIALWe are actively seeking a motivated iOS lead with proven industry experience of leading the delivery ofmobile appsThe ideal candidate will be responsible for inspiring top performance for their team and demonstrate very strong leadership and technical capabilitiesThey will demonstrate in-depth understanding of architecting, developing and deploying high-volume,multi-tiered, mobile applicationsThey will have a flexible attitude and will work closely with engineers, UX and product designers to deliver delightful mobile user experiencesThey should be comfortable working with Agile processes with an emphasis onquality and collaboration and be eager to influence the processes adopted by the teamThe candidate will get to work with modern technologies, such as Swift, RESTful web services, OAuth 2.0, and will utilize them to build cutting-edge software that willinclude advance data visualizationsKnowledge of Consumer Finance is not essential but experience in any of these areas may provide a candidate with some advantageClear verbal and written communication skills will be crucial since the candidate must beable to gather requirements as well as influence and gain consensus for their designs with the global technology team SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FORBachelor in Software Engineering, Computer Science or the equivalent in demonstrable work experience At least 3 years of experience managing software engineering teams5+ years of practical experience in developing high quality softwareExtensive experience in mobile/ iOS developmentAppreciation of design and knowledge of Apple HIG (human interfaceguidelines)Passion for quality and attention to detailStrong opinions loosely held Preferred QualificationsActive on Github or StackOverflowExperience with Realm is preferredExperience with Cocopods and/or Carthage is preferred ABOUT GOLDMANSACHS ABOUT GOLDMAN SACHS At Goldman Sachs, we commit our people, capital and ideas to help our clients, shareholders and the communities we serve to grow.
