AJ Software Solution is a software development and consultancy firm based in London. We have developed a comprehensive platform for managing customs declaration in the UK, namely Customs-Declarations.uk. Customs-Declarations helps our clients manage thecomplexity of the import/export process after Brexit. The cloud-based, self-service platform provides step-by-step assistance throughout the customs filing process.We are looking for a resource with previous hands-on experience in filing and managing customs declarations via HMRC, having a background in logistics and freight management.Responsibilities:o Respond to client enquiries in a technical and informed manner.o Engage with prospective clients and create opportunities for new businessengagement.o Drive customer onboarding sessions with hands-on knowledge of customsdeclaration and our platform (we will train on platform).o Maintain and drive all client engagement and support activities via our customerrelationship management (CRM) software.o Support our clients in filings their customs declarations, and assist in resolving anytechnical and procedural issues.o Engage and coordinate with our partners and relevant stakeholders (CSPs, HRMCetc.) on the assigned tasks.o Maintain excellent levels of customer satisfactiono Ensure knowledge of customs practices and standards are maintained in line withcurrent legislation/regulation through continuous professional developmentWere looking for someone with:o Experience with customs clearances (essential)o Experience in the freight forwarding industryo Excellent communications and organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise and quickly adjust with decisiveness and integrity o Good attention to detail and accuracyo Ability to deal with large amounts of informationo Strong teamwork ethics and cooperation skills
