Job Description

A luxury Furniture Retailer based in their Head office in Fulham is looking to recruit a Customer Service Advisor in their aftercare department. You will be assisting with incoming customer aftersales and general enquiries via email, phone and online chat, meaning that it will be paramount to be able to build good relations with all their customers.General Duties:

  • Priorities and process accurate customer orders and requests
  • Investigate and resolve customer queries. This will include assisting customers who may have receive their orders late, have received the wrong product or have received faulty products whist ensuring timely solutions
  • Telephone call answering and responding to emails/online chat in a professional and courteous manner, reflecting the company brand ethos
  • Liaise with the companys factory to ensure that manufacturing- related customer service issues are resolved effectively
  • Direct the company logistics patterns to arrange collections and deliveries
  • Follow up on phone calls and contracts within agreed timescales
  • Maintain thorough and accurate customer service records
  • Compile weekly and monthly customer service reports
  • Communicate with the management team to ensure that trends and issues are flagged as appropriate
  • Escalate customer service issues are required
  • Manage all costs relating to customer services issues to within agreed limits
  • Compliance with all statutory and company regulations and best practices
  • Use database systems and technology to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Work with the commercial team to drive positive company dales and results
  • Check product availability for customer orders
  • Expectations:
  • Friendly, patient, able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience of working in a call centre / phone-based customer service position ideally within Retail or Manufacturing
  • Experience of responding to emails and Live chat
  • Strong attention to detail and able to work to demanding deadlines. You will be prioritising customer orders and should be someone who can think outside of the box with excellent listening skills.
  • PC literate using Microsoft packages and in house databases
