Do you have the creative ability to build and design a unique curriculumAre you experienced in product scopingWhy not consider the role of Curriculum ExecutiveatReed in PartnershipThe Curriculum Development Executive supports the delivery of training to Participants across Reed in Partnership by researching, writing and producing high quality training products including schemes of work, lesson plans, trainer guides, learner workbooks,podcasts and other resources.The role provides flexible product development support across a broad range of accredited and non-accredited training delivered through classroom, 1:1 and work-based learning methods as required to meet business needs, including training targeted at differentgroups of Participants and sectors.The Curriculum Development Executive will strictly adhere to the guidelines in accordance with the programmes requirements and Reed in Partnerships policies and procedures. This is not an exhaustive list and the role-holder will be expected to carry out anyother duties as may be specified by the line manager from time to time. This profile is non-contractual.Reed in Partnership requires the full commitment and cooperation of its employees to strictly adhere to the company policies, which include health and safety, diversity and safeguarding policies*.Key ResponsibilitiesThe role is responsible for all stages of the product development cycle for new and existing training products as needed:Needs Analysis Conduct research into the need for the training product and to inform content of the training product, including interviews and surveys of Reed in Partnership staff, customers and partners, review published material e.g. labour market information and academicresearch. There will be a focus on developing training and courses around a required skill set based on employer and sector needs.Product Scoping Write clear product briefs stating the proposed approach for the product and work with internal stakeholdersthe Sector Skills Managers and external stakeholdersemployers and sector bodies to agree the product briefResource Production Create scheme(s) of work to meet the product brief, including learning outcomes and assessment criteria Write lesson plans to meet the scheme of work that use a range of delivery styles e.g. group activities, presentation, facilitation, exercises. Ensure the lesson plan enables all learning styles to be accommodated Create and produce all relevant supporting resources, including:o Trainer guideso Activities and activity guidanceo Course information sheetso Participant handouts o Participant workbookso Visual aids including PowerPoint slides o Podcasts, internet activities and materials for the Virtual Learning Environment Review all materials against relevant internal and external standardProduct Testing and Quality Assurance Oversee the piloting / testing of all new materials, working with colleagues to ensure the practical use of the product and the impact of product on learner achievement is measured Work with colleagues to ensure products are delivered in accordance with quality assurance policies and good practice Create, manage and train out the release to the business of the finished product including managing any design and layout work within budget and proof readingQualifications and Standards Work with others to ensure training products contribute to high quality training which meets all relevant standards and policies including Ofsted, equality and diversity, health and safety and safeguarding. Keep up to date with changes to the qualifications and skills system to ensure that awarding body standards are continuously met and exceeded and that qualifications are still currentProduct promotion Support business development activity by providing accurate and timely product information Where necessary presenting and demonstrating products to external and internal stakeholdersWhat we can offer you
