This post should be seen as an opportunity to play a significant part in the next stage of the development of The Petchey Academy and as an excellent experience for a candidate who intends to move on to Deputy Headship. The successful candidate will work as a member of the Leadership Team which meets regularly to set the strategic direction of the academy.The successful candidate:will be a successful classroom practitioner who is able to model outstanding teaching to others.will have at least two years successful experience as as Head of Faculty or equivalent, in a challenging urban comprehensive setting.will have the ability to rigorously monitor key indicators of performance, through gathering, recording and analysis of data. will have experience of tracking student progress and identifying successful targeted interventions for students that require extra support.The Petchey Academy, under the patronage of Jack Petchey is dedicated to enabling young people to aspire and succeed.
