CTO,AWS,cloud,PYspark,python,react,GIThubAs things pick up through the year I have an exciting opportunity for any CTO looking for work.This exciting role is for a Start up which has been trading for a number of years with significant investment with a unique offering into the market.Salary - £130,000- £150,000Location - LondonStart date - ASAPResponsibilities and experience:·You will have worked as a CTO or as a Director of a software or data business.·Lead our software engineering teams on processes and architecture, and monitoring of the infrastructure.·You will have strong previous experience in software development, data engineering or machine learning with at least 15 years of total relevant experience.·Ensure security and scalability of our software across the board.·You have a have deep knowledge of cloud deployed systems (AWS), data security, and networking.·Manage 3rd party data sources and services.·You have an eye for detail and order, being able to spot problems in code, data and security or overall processes which others might miss or take longer to find.·Determine and communicate KPIs for the engineering team.·Manage technical risk and monitor progress.·Plan safe, downtime-free software releases with the wider business.Ability to understand the following technologies:·AWS infrastructure·Postgres, PostGIS, GeoSpark (Apache Sedona) for ETL·Go for APIs·Postgres & Clickhouse for database loads·Python and Pyspark for data science·React frontend·Git for version control·Github for CI/CD·Infrastructure as code wherever possibleIf you think this role is suitable to yourself then please send me your cv and apply.
