Job Description My client is a leading European Investment Bank looking for a Senior Credit Risk Portfolio Manager for their office in Madrid . My client will look at local Spanish residents as well as EU citizens looking to relocate to Madrid. (Spanish language skills are not essential). Candidates must be eligible to work in the EU. Technical Skills Required: It is essential that the candidate have significant years of experience working in Credit Risk Management within a Financial Institution, ideally within an Investment Bank.Applicants must have demonstrated experience working with counterparty credit risk products.The successful applicant must be prepared to be permanently based in Madrid.Fluency in English is essential. Spanish is desirable but not essential.The Credit Risk Portfolio Manager must have proven experience in managing credit risk appetite frameworks, portfolio risk limits, ICAAP, (stress testing) and experience covering counterparty credit risk products.Candidates must have experience working with IFRS9.Previous experience working in a similar role, in a credit risk management function in an investment bank or other financial services institution.
