Job Description

A newly created opportunity has arisen within an international banking group in Central London for Credit Risk Analyst. Working closely with Senior Management, the purpose of the role is to carry out control and recovery duties on the credit portfolio. This is a fantastic opportunity for a fluent Cantonese speaking candidate with a strong Credit background gained within financial services!Duties will include:

  • Identify and highlight excess, past due and other irregularities in customer accounts. Liaise with front office for further handling where relevant.
  • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports on excess, past due and other irregular accounts.
  • Carry out review of memos on downgrading/ upgrading of internal ratings.
  • Prepare payment reminders, deadline or demand letters where relevant.
  • Handle the recovery work and monitor the overall impairment loss and impaired loan ratio of portfolio.
  • Prepare MI on irregular accounts and assist in ad-hoc projects.
  • Prepare periodic reporting to Head Office on credit related issues.
  • Review & update the manuals including the Debt Recovery Section of the Credit Risk Management Manual
  • Carry out consumer & company credit checking for overall group
  • Provide cover for Assistant Credit Analyst (Credit Assessment)
    • This successful candidate educated to degree level and will have minimum 2 years in a Credit Risk role gained within FS, with experience of credit control & recovery being essential. Required skills
