KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: The Credit Research team is responsible for the credit risks of individual holdings on PICs internal portfolio Writing and presenting annual credit reviews in respect of debt investments managed internallyand updating Rating Methodologies Writing sector/regulatory reviews annually Creating and updating peer tables setting the key financial and sector specific ratios Ongoing monitoring - updating team/management of (i) news in respect of issuers, associatedcounterparties and peers, and (ii) sector regulatory updates Ongoing reporting of financial data associated with the internally managed portfolio Participating in credit committees to assess credit risks associated with new investments recommended by the originationteam The team owns PIC s internal Credit Ratings Provide Credit Ratings for new Bilateral Deals Maintaining Credit Ratings Maintaining the Credit Rating methodologies Ongoing monitoring updating team/management of (I) news in respect of issuers, associatedcounterparties and peers, and sector regulatory updates Providing ESG assessment on internally holdings ESSENTIAL: Attention to detail, consistency, accuracy (credit analysis skills) Ability to manage workload/prioritise work occurring concurrently Sectorawareness (effective portfolio monitoring) Communication skills Problem solving (ability to structure organic solutions in respect of holdings (a) to address inherent problems, or (b) improve features of a deal, where applicable) Diligence in presenting ideasand challenges Prior experience in credit analysis of Housing Associations either in a bank, rating agency or asset manager.
