Job Description

With a strong emphasison leveraging technology to streamline processes, over 50% of their business is development-focused, allowing them to offer lending decisions within an hour through automated processes and models. Since securing backing from venture capitalists in 2022, theyhaveexperienced rapid growth and is now poised to expand further in 2024.They are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking individual to join our team as a Portfolio Analyst & Credit Operations Specialist. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our mission to transform B2B lending while ensuring the smooth operationof our credit processes and portfolio management.Key Responsibilities:

  1. Credit Analysis and Underwriting Expertise: Utilize your expertise in credit analysis and underwriting to assess the creditworthiness of clients within the GNPL framework and manage credit risk effectively.
  2. Portfolio Analysis and Management: Conduct comprehensive analysis of our lending portfolio using data-focused approaches and tools such as Tableau. Identify trends, opportunities, and risks within the portfolio to optimize lending decisions and enhanceportfolio performance.
  3. Sanction Checks and Compliance: Perform thorough sanction checks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements to maintain the integrity of our lending operations. Take proactive measures to address any flagged issues and mitigate risks promptly.
  4. Operational Support and Process Optimization: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to streamline operational processes and enhance efficiency. Take initiative in solving post-client onboarding challenges and implementing improvements to our automatedprocesses and models.
  5. Thought Leadership and Innovation: Serve as a thought leader in credit operations, leveraging your expertise to propose innovative solutions and strategies. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance our lending capabilities and drive growth in alignmentwith our business objectives.
  6. Autonomous Problem-Solving: Take ownership of identifying and resolving operational challenges independently, demonstrating a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
