Job Description

The TTS Cash Credit Risk Management team is a subset of Transaction Service Risk Management, which consists of a core group of professional risk managers who develop, design and implement active risk management strategies for the entire business frontto back. Most of the current work encompasses managing credit, liquidity, intra-day exposure, balance sheet exposure and pro-active portfolio analysis. TTS Cash Risk Management is a vertical unit providing full range of risk advisory services to the frontline businesses in their product implementation and partners with Operations, Technology, Compliance and Legal to mitigate P&L impacts to TTS. Role Description: The incumbent will report to the TTS EMEA Cash Risk Head, working as part of the EMEA TTS Cash Risk Team. As a TSRM Credit Officer, s/he will consider for approval/approve daily clearing limit excesses for TTS Cash and Securities Services, bringing to bearsubject matter expertise on the various product processors and platforms involved as well as their interactions. ICU also manages all clients rolled out under Follow the Sun (FTS). In addition, s/he will have direct responsibility for approving various otherintraday credit requests related to TTS Cash products. The incumbent will also be charged with identifying opportunities to improve overall operating efficiency and client satisfaction while maintaining appropriate risk levels. S/he will be responsible forthe achievement of individual goals and objectives, and to contribute to the success of the goals and objectives of the team. Responsibilities:

  • Ensure cash and securities intraday credit excess approvals for all Western European Markets, including allocations under Follow the Sun process when required are timely considered
  • Collaborating with FICC/ Independent Risk and Banking teams in Clearing line right sizing analysis which includes recommending increases facilities or reductions in under-utilised lines through the Annual reviews, frequent offenders, FTS automation andsystemic/procedural improvements
  • Act as a support for CLUE (Clearing Lines utilisation Engine) system
  • Periodically review CCRs and distilling a meaningful summary on the latest Special Assets Team view on name to be used to populate the High Risk Database for the team and TSRM seniors.
  • Provide support throughout any Crisis management process occurring
  • Maintain and co-ordinate Global ICU reporting and other ad-hoc reports required by senior management
  • Work with EMEA TTS Cash Credit Risk Head and ICU Head on various initiatives within the Business Unit including partnering with the various TTS Cash products on new product development and implementations
Qualifications
  • A credit officer with relevant credit risk management experience
  • Undergraduate degree preferred
  • Superior oral and written communication skills & the ability to think critically and analytically
  • Excellent knowledge of TTS/SS products, MS Office tools, superior PC skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work within and across teams/locations to accomplish goals in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to view data holistically and remain detail oriented to synthesize, prioritize and deliver results with urgency
  • Ability to meet and respond under time pressure to Risk and Business Senior Credit Officers, including SCO L1s, and interact with Banking/GSG/TTS Sales/Product personnel across CORP/FI/PS segments
  • Knowledge on any of following Citi specific tools/systems would be beneficial: LMS, CitiRisk, Facility Management, CCS (Securities), RBCS
  • Demonstrated ability to view data holistically and remain detail oriented to synthesize, prioritize and deliver results with urgency
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, organizational, analytical, presentation, facilitation, negotiation and strategic skills
  • Proven ability to obtain support and buy-in across a wide range of internal and external audiences
  • Demonstrated work ethic and influencing skills
