Job Description

A rapidly growing alternative investment fund based in Central London is seeking to appoint a Credit Controller in a newly created position. With over £1 billion in assets under management, the firm has been experiencing consistent growth year on year. TheCredit Controller will report directly to the CFO and work within a closely-knit and busy finance team.Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the complete management of data within loan servicing software to ensure accurate records of all transactions, payments, and receipts associated with each loan.
  • Maintaining orderly electronic filing systems.
  • Generating and dispatching monthly statements/invoices to borrowers outlining the interest and fees owed.
  • Crafting customised reports as necessary in relation to facility agreements.
  • Collaborating with borrowers to reach agreements on loan requests and reports as per agreement terms.
  • Validating loan report data, including collateral, requested funds, covenant compliance, fees, rates, and financial metrics.
  • Conducting interest calculations.
  • Verifying the provision of notices of collateral assignments to relevant counterparties.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in credit control, with a preference for candidates with financial services experience.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple internal and external stakeholders effectively.
