Job Description

This a really exciting opportunity for a Senior Credit Controller to join a reputable and fast moving software company based in London. This is a 12 month fixed term contract with the high chance of a permanent role at the end.Client DetailsMy client is a large scale software company founded in 2013 who developed a very well known mobile phone application which can be used to order food and other products straight to your front door. The company have grown and developed in the last 4 yearsdue to the pandemic and technological era.DescriptionCredit Controller, London

  • Chasing debt on accounts across all their markets.
  • Utilise Credit Control tools including direct telephone calls, email correspondence, reminder letters and statements
  • Liaising with the wider finance team, Sales and Account managers to ensure timely customer query resolution and facilitate collection of overdue debts
  • Secure client remittance advice to ensure correct cash allocation on debtor accounts
  • Timely and accurately allocate cash to customer invoices
  • Reconciling complex customer accounts
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to proactively communicate appropriate status updates to key stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain appropriate reporting to track insights and help drive process improvement and create efficiencies.
  • Ability to articulate clearly and accurately the relevant process steps in a manner that is clear and understood by your stakeholders.
  • Proactively liaise with internal stakeholders and suppliers to resolve billing or payment issues, ensuring information is both accurate and timely.
  • Ad-hoc duties as required
Profile
  • A minimum of three years of Credit Control related experience.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Adaptable, able to adjust quickly to changes in processes/ways of working
  • Be a self-starter with a great eye for detail and motivated to build strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Ability to interpret data from various sources accurately and at pace.
  • Flexible, adaptable and confident in your own initiative.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to build excellent stakeholder relationships across a mix of seniority across Finance, Sales and Operations teams
  • Motivated to become a trusted advocate for Credit Control in driving business processes.
  • Having a good understanding of typical Credit Control and Billing processes is advantageous.
  • Skilled in the use of Google Docs and Sheets or MS equivalent.
