Job Description

Ref: 22399The Skills Youll Need: Excellent level of English, with Credit Analysis experience in Corporate Banking and Financial Institution in the UK.Your New Salary: £65-75k depending on experience + bonusJob status: Permanent. Hybrid working with 3 days in the officeCredit Analyst - What Youll be Doing:Credit Analysis:

  • Preparation of credit proposal to be submitted to Bank’s Credit Committee inclusive of complete analysis in connection with new and existing transactions related to companies of the corporate portfolio and also for potential new counterparties and customers.
  • Complete Analysis includes, but is not limited to, detailed and in-depth review of corporate historical economic operating results and financial position through the analysis of P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow statement and full set of ratios analysis.
  • To prepare annual/interim reviews and be responsible for managing and monitoring the existing portfolio of local clients, ensuring all reporting deadlines are met and the compliance certificates are received.
  • Assign or update a rating according to the Credit Risk Management Policy.
  • Assess and comment on facility documentation.
  • Reviewing all waiver requests and financial reporting information.
  • To liaise with internal as well as external parties to ensure all necessary documentation for local drawdown, calculations and payment of principal and interest roll-over date and loan settlement details are received and verified accordingly; report anylate payments in connection with department related matters to the Head immediately;
  • Update the department product procedure with authorised changes and to recommend amendments where necessary in order that the manual reflects current policy and procedures;
  • Complying with the banks policies and procedures for risk management.
  • Credit document filing.
Support Marketing:
  • To work with and support head of department and other staff of the team in the acquisition of new business.
  • To work with the On boarding Officer to complete Customer Due Diligence/Know Your Customer requirements and be responsible for managing and monitoring client relationships to Identify any AML-CTF threats to the Bank.
  • Keep abreast and up to date on issues affecting the client and corporate banking, such as legal, market risk and compliance.
  • Communicate with the team, customers and present transactions to management.
Credit Analyst - The Skills Youll Need to Succeed:
  • Excellent level of English in speaking and writing;
  • Solid Credit Analysis experience in Corporate Banking and Financial Institution;
  • In-depth understanding of risks and mitigations;
  • Experience in preparing credit proposal;
  • Knowledge of banking products from a credit risk perspective.
