Job Description Amazing opportunity to work at a Big4 Tech Company as a Creative Strategist! Role: Creative Strategist, Brand Marketing EMEALocation: LondonDuration: 12 monthsBonus Plan: Company (paid yearly)Contribute to the development of external communications strategies to captivate global and regional audiences through compelling written and visual media to build image and brand identity. Develop creative, public communications and media relations plans, including setting goals, budget, and tactics to improve consumer and Key Opinion Former perception of business with leadership oversight. Own the development of end-to-end external communications, crafting messages, pitches, and story angles (e.g., executive thought leadership pieces for industry publications, social media). Design and execute external comms campaigns, including taking decisions on priorities and budgets. Understand the desired target audiences and business goals to tailor communications, including writing style and channels. Build new external communications processes, procedures, and methods with foresight to anticipate and address future issues. Identify the gap between what the outside world expects from the company, using data and measurement tools. Influence across own team and cross-functional teams with sometimes competing objectives to align resources and direction. Establish and maintain rich relationships internally, within business and product areas, and externally, with media representatives and other KOFs. Work with our agencies on landing strategically important positive media coverage, as well as with journalists and influencers to positively impact coverage and perceptions. Guide the integration of multiple parallel communications activities. Act as a subject matter specialist within external communications ecosystems with comprehensive knowledge of communications principles and tools, measurement processes, external audiences, traditional and emerging communication channels, and best practices,with the ability to write in plain language. Responsibilities under the direction of Manager Act as a business or product area spokesperson Represent a business or product area, acting as a spokesperson. Agency management Manage agencies for programs by defining objectives, identifying key tasks or work streams, providing content, and establishing and monitoring budgets. Build and maintain reporter relationships Respond to editorial inquiries and requests for information release. Support the angle of the story and work with the journalist to provide additional information. Coach executives on PR and external comms Coordinate and facilitate interviews and review briefing materials to prepare key spokespeople for cross-functional comms, coaching execs on PR and external comms to be effective spokespeople. Develop and execute communications plans, and refine key messages Support development of communication strategies to keep the public informed of programs, products, accomplishments, or point of views. Drive development of high-quality comms plans and materials (e.g., emails, press releases, pitches, marketing copy, announcements,presentations articles, social media content) to publicise and promote communications and public relations programs, facilities, events, or objectives amongst external audiences. Manage comms programs for external events Manage comms programs, driving design of and review presentations, comms, and visuals for marketing and communications events. Report results Define measurement criteria to determine whether external communications programs are meeting business expectations and requirements. Track effectiveness of communications campaigns and manage feedback channels, using the information to drive recommendationsthat improve the external communications strategies. Reputation management Support protection of external reputation among communities it operates, the media, and general public, managing incidents, responses, and reactive issues, including supporting crisis comms.
