Job Description

Job Title: Creative Communications AssistantDepartment: MarketingReports to: Brand Marketing ExecutiveLocation: London, with remote workingType: Full TimeAboutThe BFC is looking for an enthusiastic Creative Communications Assistant to join the Communications team helping to deliver and execute the global marketing strategy across the companys full portfolio of projects, events and initiatives; including LondonFashion Week, Institute of Positive Fashion and The Fashion Awards.We speak to a social community of over 3 million global users across 13 channels of industry, consumers and individuals highly engaged in the fashion industry, to tell the stories of the member and patron network, London Fashion Week designers and more.We are looking for a forward thinking and creative minded person, to assist in the generation of content for all marketing channels, taking a practical hands-on approach and ensuring all output aligns with strategic objectives.The BFC encourages a culture which empowers, values, nurtures, supports and rewards its employees and promotes a positive environment with a focus on team collaboration and open communication.The BFC is committed to being an Equal Opportunities Employer.   • Work across admin to support the brand marketing team, updating production calendars and aligning key dates from across the business
  • Assist in communications with external agencies, updating relevant deliverable documents
  • Ingesting and organising creative content from across the business and filing and distributing this appropriately
  • Creating and collating meeting agendas and notes from creative meetings both internally and externally
  • Supporting Brand Marketing Executive in sign off processes including brand partnership support
Creative
  • Research relevant content trends and bring ideas to the team
  • Work closely with the social media team to ensure brand is consistent across all channels
  • Assist on minor graphic amends where appropriate, utilising templates from creative agencies
  • Assist on delivering creative campaigns on projects such as London Fashion Week, across multiple formats including film, graphics and photography
  • Being a brand guardian
Reporting
  • Alongside the Brand Marketing Executive, analyse and report on success on a weekly, monthly and seasonal basis including future recommendations to test
  • Feed into team presentations and decks to evaluate and consistently improve creative communications
Business Skills:
  • Assisting the communications team in all activity
  • Maintaining and developing positive and strong working relationships with BFC network of agencies, digital partners, internal BFC departments, designers and PRs
  • Delivering individual tasks whilst maintaining focus on overall company objectives
  • Drives best practice behaviours and works as a team to meet BFCs objectives to maintain integrity and reputation
  • Represents the BFC and acts as an ambassador at events, corporate initiatives, networking, etc.

Additional Information
  • Proven experience or educational background focused on brand or digital marketing
  • Sound knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including but not limited to InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
  • Excellent written and spoken level of English essential
  • Strong knowledge of IT and creative eye
  • Strong familiarity of a broad range of social platforms and its uses
  • Strong knowledge of the importance of formats, digital and languages ability to impact performance
Salary & Benefits
  • Job type: Full time, permanent
  • Salary: Subject to experience
  • 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays + Christmas Eve
  • Summer Working Hours (July & August)
  • Standard company working hours are 09.30 to 17.30, flexibility and non-standard hours are required during events
