Creative Account Executive at The First WordWere looking for a Creative Account Executive to keep our work running smoothly, so we can grow.Youll work with the directors on a wide range of brands to help them ditch corporate speak and write with realpersonality.A bit about usWe set up in 2011 to banish the blah, bull and bunkum from business writing. And were proud to say weve won a few awards along the way.We do it by: helping brands find their tone of voice bringing words to life in workshops, coachingand digital learning writing brilliant copy.We work with a close-knit team of writers, trainers and graphic designers.Who were looking forWere looking for a Creative Account Executive who can support our clients by listening carefully to their needs andhelping us to solve their word-related problems.Youll also help us keep our work on-time and on-budget. So youll be super organised and great at managing multiple projects.Were a words business so when it comes to writing, a keen eye for detail is a must.Youll be a competent writer, confident communicator and an excellent listener.If youve had experience of business writing or brand tone of voice, thats a plus but not a deal breaker.Youll work from home primarily and visit our clients, who are based aroundthe UK and sometimes overseas.About the roleDay to day, youll: keep in regular contact with our clients and manage projects day-to-day over video calls and in meetings, recording notes as well as keeping up to date on client emails keep our projects on timeby scheduling meetings in our diary, and creating and managing project plans listen carefully to client briefs, answer questions and take feedback manage our teams work by liaising with our freelance writers, designers and trainers organise logistics andsupplies for our workshops, from arranging training rooms and booking travel to helping us put together training agendas, invites and feedback surveys support with pitches and help us get set up with new clients stay on top of our invoicing keep high standardsinhouse by checking documents (well use our proofreader when we need to be word perfect) help us plan and organise events pitch-in with ideas to support our marketing and social media.What youll getYoull enjoy responsibility and a work/life balance thatyou wont get in a larger agency.
