Job Description

Location: NottinghamshireSalary: £40,000Type of role : PermanentWorking Scheme: Flexible Hybrid Working SchemeHours: 37.5 HoursJob Ref: TRU24ARMWhat the role entails:Were looking for a kind, compassionate and resilient CQC Registered Manager to join our team.We are based in Nottinghamshire and provide a range of support services to clients with complex care needs, varying from home care, palliative care, supported living accommodation to live-in care, on a short, medium, or long-term supportThis role requires a valid Right to Work for the UK and valid UK driving licence and vehicle.The Registered Manager will be responsible for the operational management of our specialist and complex clientele and focus on support services across the service & Growth of the serviceThe role requires working in partnership with other Service Managers, Care coordinator, stakeholders, external agencies and the commissioning team.We are looking for a CQC Registered Manager who will lead and deliver high quality support to clients to achieve their best quality of life and receiving care and support that will continue to empower them to maintaining their to independence.The Registered Manager will be responsible for safeguarding clients, promoting best practice and legislative compliance to keep our clients safe within their environment.Some duties include:

  • Oversee staff management and supervision, care and placement planning, safeguarding, communications, report writing and monitoring quality and compliance
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements of the CQC.
  • Overseeing CQC regulated services.
  • Ensure clients access services that meet their social, emotional, mental health, and well-being needs.
  • Support the staff team to develop constructive working relationships within the wider community to promote the overall outcomes for the client.
  • Develop and foster professional relationships with stakeholders, as appropriate.
  • Work flexibly to ensure adequate coverage for the service, including evening work, weekend work, and bank holidays, inclusive of sleep-ins.
  • Support the staff team to develop their skills and competency to meet each clients needs and provide continuity of positive care.
  • You will need to demonstrate knowledge of the Care Industry and of CQC requirements in addition to qualifications needed to carry out the Registered Managers position. As a Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the delivery of a high quality, responsiveand person-centred service that meets the assessed needs of customers and supports them to live positive, independent lives
Qualifications and skillset required for this role:
  • Must be proficient in MS Office;
  • Have attained a Level 3 Diploma in adult Health and Social Care
  • Be willing to attain a qualification of at least or equivalent to Level 5 Leadership and Management
  • Demonstrate commitment to continuing professional development.
