Job Description

Sylvia Cohen Communication works with CEOs, directors, public figures and ambitious professionals to improve their communication outcomes. We have a 5 step system that creates masterful communication for individuals and we have also created group training for Groupon, Canon Europe, Blackrock Asset Management and PWC (Russia) among others.In the current climate of remote working, the need to create an engaging impact over the digital screen is critical to gaining credibility with peers and clients. Sylvia works with people to help them gain impact, authority and presence when they speakSylvia has also created a powerful training package for people looking to soften their accent. This 6 month guided training has helped thousands of people achieve clear, confident and impactful communication and is a growing part of the business.Sylvia Cohen Communication is looking for a Course Co-ordinator to provide excellent client care to the accent softening course (MSE) participants and assist the company as it continues to expand it’s client portfolio. This is an exciting time to join the company after an impressive period of growth and development, to help take us to the next level.Job descriptionOverview: To oversee company processes and manage delivery of the MSE (accent softening) course.Specific duties may include:Company Administration

  • Keep diary system (Acuity) up to date with all staff availability
  • Add in ad hoc blocks e.g. company meetings or bank holidays
  • Create/ manage appointment types
  • Amend the confirmation/ reminder emails as necessary
  • Book/ amend clients’ appointments
  • Schedule classes
  • Utilise Asana as a light’ CRM keeping clients’ records up to date
  • Client and course management
  • Manage the onboarding process for new clients
  • Send invoices for new clients
  • Keep track of MSE clients who need appointments booking in e.g. 1-2-1s, 3 month focus coaching and final evaluations
  • Produce monthly progress report to share with team
  • Move people through the flow processes as appropriate
  • Write and send monthly client newsletter with links to appropriate info and classes
  • PA
  • Act as occasional PA for Sylvia
  • Send follow-up emails
  • Transcribe client proposals
  • Liaise with her 1-2-1 clients, i.e. book/amend appts
  • Other
  • Liaise with Sylvia to diarise quarterly events, and confirm long-term schedules
  • Occasionally assist wider team with tasks e.g. marketing research/ mailouts

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Self motivated, with ability to work effectively independently and as part of a small team
  • Ability to work remotely on own equipment

  • Experience in invoicing
  • Experience or demonstrable interest in voice training/ communication skills
