Country Finance ManagerLondonOutstanding opportunity for a qualified Accountant to assume this high profile role in the dynamic environment of a world renowned, multi award winning advertising network.The successful candidate will enjoy the broadest possible brief and will require strong analytical skills and commercial acumen with prior experience of financial management, including budgeting and forecasting.Responsibilities:• Report directly to the EMEA CFO with indirect reports from the CFOs of the markets managed. • Be primary point of contact for CFOs for a portfolio of EMEA markets• Responsible for the in-depth monthly and quarterly review and critically appraise and benchmark financial performance, including budgets, forecasts, results and balance sheets for a portfolio of advertising agencies, providing analysis and reports to senior management• Business partner to local CFOs, understanding the key drivers of performance challenge them on appropriateness of profit plans and reforecasts, providing commercial input to strategy and budgets as well as ensuring local agency strategy and objectives are in line with Group network strategy and objectives• Work with senior stakeholders on acquisitions, disposals, business combinations, liquidations, outsourcing, restructuring plans, working capital management and client contract negotiations.• Ad hoc projects as and when they arise to improve processes, both financial and operational, improve efficiencies and productivity and develop best practice.• Ongoing development of the Hyperion reporting systemThe successful candidate will be a fully qualified Accountant with confident and robust communication skills, ideally with previous experience of interacting with and preparing information for senior stakeholders such as CEO and CFOs.
