Job Description

Corporate Tax ManagerSalary: Up to £100,000 + benefit packageLocation: City of London & Mayfair To work for an award-winning British Accountancy Firm as part of the Tax Consulting team.You will act as a specialist with responsibility for tax advice to a small, dedicated client base and in addition, will handle a wide range of referrals for occasional assignments, together producing fees of £250,000 per annum or moreYour duties will include:

  • Consistently produces complete reports
  • Effective provision of tax planning advice to clients
  • Awareness of current relevant legislation and compliance standards
  • Proactively identifies new clients and opportunities
  • Effectively controls own portfolio and client costs
  • Actively involved in training junior staff, including supervision and management of work
  • Is the main point of contact for client queries
  • Maintains effective working relationships with clients
  • Assists with proposals and presentations
  • Assists with marketing opportunities including networking and doing seminar presentations
    • Requirements for the role:
  • Ideally CTA qualified
  • An assertive and confident communicator
  • Ability to build strong client relationships
  • An effective team leader, producing reliable results and commanding respect from the team.
  • Strong IT skills
  • Great commercial awareness with the ability to capitalise on opportunities
  • Able to influence decision making
