Our Client Services Team are dedicated to supporting creditors proactively managetheir debt positions and maximise recoveries from insolvent situations.About the roleMazarsRestructuring Services is looking for an Assistant Manager to join our established national team. You will work alongside a diverse and experienced group where your personal development is at the forefront of our culture. While the role is based inour London team, you may also have the opportunity to workwithourInsolvencyPractitioners in other regions as we operate as a national practice across all areas of restructuring, by embracing a hybrid working model.Our team is looking for an individualwho has an interest and experience in both corporate and personal insolvency matters . You will be target driven and dealing with individuals both internally and externally throughout all parts of insolvency processes.

• Responsibility for generating and converting corporate advisory and insolvency leads, by region, with sole responsibility for specified Mazars offices.
• Providing assistance to Senior Work Winners on both corporate and personal insolvency matters.
• At least 80% of your time will be desk-based and as a minimum, during the core hours of 10am - 3pm.
• Ensuring key information is recorded on in house database accurately and in a timely manner.
• Contacting creditors and intermediaries whilst adhering to insolvency / companies act, case law and best practice legislation.
• Building relationships with all RS offices and across other Mazars teams, business units and service lines.
• Professional liaison with Insolvency Practitioners, Solicitors, other intermediaries and to a lesser extent the Insolvency Service.
• Attending external, creditor meetings both in person and virtually and providing a detailed note of the meeting.
• Attending client/intermediary business development events/meetings, possibly outside of contractual hours.
• Analysis of data feeds and MI to create own target list with support of senior leadership team.
• Conversion of targets/creditors into RS work sources.
• Good knowledge of how to read company and insolvency documents (Annual Accounts, Statement of Affairs, SIP 6 reports etc).
• Good technical knowledge of decision procedures.
• Up to date knowledge of necessary technical aspects of Corporate Insolvency.
• Assist the senior Client Service team in setting and implementing their strategy.
• Building relationships with a network of local intermediariesand creating, maintaining and enhancing relationships with other IPs, nationally.

What are we looking for

• Experience of either Corporate Insolvency and / or general Client Service is necessary.
• Ability to generate own leads either through existing contact base or via creditors / targets identified through engagements.
• Working knowledge of alternative lending sector.
• Good use of English language both written and verbal.
• Willingness to speak and / or present in front of crowds and senior people (internal and external).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Available to work 9-5.30 / 8-4.30 daily, subject to any hybrid / flexible working model agreed with their line manager / partner.
• Happy to travel when required.
