Job Description

About the TeamOur Corporate Finance EURI business is a market leader in sellside and buyside transactions across a range of infrastructure sub-sectors, with a particularly strong presence in fast growing areas such as Energy Transition and Digital Infrastructure. Our team offers strategic advice to investors and companies undertaking mergers and acquisitions, capital raises or investment opportunities. As part of our team, youll help our clients by providing client specific commercial insight, market and competitoroverviews, and investment/divestment advice and financial modelling. We work with our clients to deliver innovative deal solutions, providing advice and support, from initiation through to deal completion. In short, were a part of helping some of the leading infrastructure companies and funds originate, create, execute, andrealise value from deals. Through data driven insights we help our clients move in the right direction ensuring maximum value for their companies. The EURI team has grown hugely over the past couple of years, announcing and completing a number of significant transactions with a very significant and fast-growing pipeline of interesting and exciting mandates for the next year. As such, we offer a greatplatform for someone to learn further and develop through real transactional experience. About the Role : Were recruiting for a Manager to join our EURI team. Youll be working with a highly motivated team of specialist corporate financiers to support our clients from deal origination to execution. As a Manager youll be working across the broad Infrastructure and energy transaction sector on the execution of buy side and sell side transactions. Youll play a key role in the day-to-day management of transactions including being responsible for deliveryof information memoranda, management presentations, valuation analysis and taking responsibility for preparation of information and client communications Additional responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Day-to-day management of transactions which includes responsibility for primary contact for clients on a day-to-day basis on transactions
  • Valuation work including financial modelling such as DCF analysis
  • Coaching and mentoring of junior team members
  • Participation in client presentations and meetings
  • Financial modelling and analysis of transactions
  • Preparation and co-ordination of project deliverables
  • Project managing transactions and liaising with multiple parties
  • Business development activities including identification and targeting of potential opportunities, and developing a strong personal network of contacts.
Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Excellent numeracy skills with keen attention to detail and the ability to absorb and analyse large amounts of data quickly
  • Ideally some experience in an M&A lead advisory role with expertise in managing deals
  • Ability to undertake detailed financial / commercial analysis for inclusion in client reports
  • Demonstrable interest in the broad infrastructure / energy transition sector
  • Client focus, with the ability to work quickly and establish effective working relationships
  • Ability to work with a range of clients from entrepreneurs to funds to corporates
  • Logical and methodical approach to problem solving ability to develop, coach and motivate junior members of the team
  • The self-confidence/appetite to be involved in business development activities
