Job Description

This is an exciting to opportunity to join a UK investment banking boutique, working on a range of deals in both the private and public company arena. The right person will have the chance to progress swiftly into a senior management role, with strategicinput into the business as well.Main ResponsibilitiesM&A:

  • Financial Modelling - dilution/accretion analysis and enlarged group forecast models
  • Documentation - term sheets and SPAs
  • Buyer/seller search.
  • Transaction experience in both private and public M&A (Takeover Code) and includes the production of fairness opinions
Private Capital Advisory (private equity and private debt):
  • Sourcing financing for private deals from credit, minority and growth equity funds.
  • Produce marketing materials, including teasers and management presentations, and prepare forecast and downside scenario financial models.
  • Involved in the structuring and execution of private debt and private equity transactions, supporting the due diligence process and deal documentation.
  • Help to build and maintain a network of different types of private capital funders
Equity Capital Markets:
  • Work on initial and secondary equity offerings both on AIM and the Main Market.
  • Take ownership of drafting process for admission documents and prospectuses
  • Drafting other corporate finance documentation such as engagement letters and NDAs
  • Modelling - including comparable company analysis, precedent transaction analysis, discounted cash flow analysis and forecast operating models
Person Specification
  • 5+ years professional experience, at least 2 of them in Corporate Finance in a midmarket bank orboutique or a Big 4 accountancy firm
  • Proven deal execution experience
  • Outstanding academics from a leading university
  • Be able to demonstrate a high level of confidentiality
  • Must have a high standard of accuracy and strong mathematical skills.
  • Logical and methodical approach to problem solving
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
