Job Purpose Mazars, the international tax, audit and advisory firm, is looking for a Corporate Communications specialist to join its Communications team.In this role, you will help to tell Mazars story, both inside and outside the firm. Working across internal and external communications, you will network with senior stakeholders to identify compelling stories from across the business, and then use yourskills to create appropriate content for a range of channels.This role will provide exposure to senior stakeholders across the business and the successful candidate play a key part in the growth of a diverse, ambitious and purposeful professional services firm. You will work closely with the UK and Group MarCommsteams and will report to the UK Head of Communications. Roles & Responsibilities

• Identify stories and initiatives from across the business and create articles for national newsletters and firm-wide communications
• Support our colleagues in HR, Finance and IT, as well as our diversity networks and client-facing teams
• Work closely with the Head of Communications to manage PR agency relationships, plan media activity in line with business strategy, and coordinate a busy and proactive press office
• Identify media targets and prepare spokespeople to articulate the firms message clearly and consistently
• Support our executive leadership team with corporate profile and build strong media relationships in the national press
• Draft press releases and media commentary for our spokespeople, as well as reviewing and editing the work of agencies and contractors
• Provide communications support in reputational crises and act as deputy to Head of Communications

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

• Excellent written English is a given: youll also be creative and passionate about language, able to express complex ideas in a direct and engaging way
• The audience comes first, and youll be able to craft appropriate stories and tailor your style according to the content and the audience
• Youll understand that flawless accuracy, grammar and spelling communicate credibility and professionalism
• You can demonstrate, with examples, the excellent work youve produced in the past.
• Words on a page may not tell the whole story, and youll be open to experimenting with different media and channels to share our message
• Youll be able to manage multiple competing demands on your time by prioritising tasks and setting clear expectations
• Managing ambiguity and delivering to schedule will underpin trusting relationships with your stakeholders across the business
• Your personal style is engaging, and you have the ability to absorb feedback and build rapport quickly
