Job Description

Our client is a top investment management firm based in London, looking to hire within their corporate actions team. You will be responsible for overseeing all corporate action and dividend events.Responsibilities

  • Record all Corporate Action and Dividend events
  • Instruct all voluntary corporate action events and check for any restrictions that may impact the client base from participating.
  • Speak to third parties, to ensure all information is received to allow deadlines to be met. Deal with any queries.
  • Work with the reconciliations team on any breaks that may occur.
  • Monitor proxy voting, collating new meetings onto a central spreadsheet and sending research onto the PM for a decision.
  • Cover various aspects of the Trade matching and settlement process for equities.
  • Monitor and collate FX requirements that are needed to cover corporate actions but also resulting from the trade flow. Including checking balances that need to be traded and any resultant overdrafts.
Requirements
  • 5-6 years experience in corporate actions
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Willingness to take responsibility and use independent initiative.
  • Display a curiosity to learn.
