Job Description

We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Corporate Accountant to join a reputable organisation based in London. You will be responsible for the Company Management accounts, annual consolidated Group Financial Statements, reporting against corporateKPIs and net zero delivery. You will work on regulatory reporting and statutory filings and annual budget and strategy and long term financial forecasting.Financial Reporting and Control responsibilities -Responsible for:

  • Month end financial closure, including all accruals and prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations, and P&L analytics
  • Completing full end to end process within the GL and financial systems
  • Maintenance of books and records on suite of applications
  • Support the production of the annual financial statements and the consolidated Group accounts in accordance with UKGAAP, best practice and agreed timelines
  • Responsible for the development and maintenance of financial controls and policies.
Auditor liaison
  • Liaise with Auditors throughout year end process, board Reporting & Management Information:
  • Support the preparation of management accounts to the Board
  • Support the preparation the annual budget.
You must have a strong background in financial reporting, statutory requirements, up to date knowledge of relevant accounting standards and best practices, strong relationships with external auditors and excellent business partnering and communication skills.This is an exciting new opportunity for a qualified/ PQE Accountant with proven financial services experience to join a leading firm in London, the role is offered with lots of flexibility and hybrid working
