Job Description

Head of PR£50,000-£60,000 per annum12 month Maternity CoverFull time, 2 days per week in the officeMy Client are a leading Agency who are looking for a Head of PR to work across their existing client base. You will need proven experience within PR and Publicity as well as demonstrable experience managing a team of at least 7. You will also need extensivecampaign management experience across film and entertainment client.The Role

  • Spearheading the PR team, tasked with defining objectives, prioritizing tasks for the PR/Publicity team, embodying company values, overseeing team performance, and providing mentorship to junior PR team members.
  • Steering outward PR strategies and plans to promote key initiatives, presenting proposals and pitches to both existing and potential clients.
  • Elevating awareness and visibility of PR programs within the organization through collaborative efforts with other departments.
  • Managing the departments budget, collaborating with the Finance Director to monitor team revenues and costs, and conducting forecasting activities.
  • Tracking and evaluating the departments output from the initial opportunity to post-campaign or pitch analysis.
  • Ensuring proactive updates to media databases by the team, incorporating relevant online and offline media contacts (print, broadcast, online, podcasts, and paid media opportunities).
  • Maintaining awareness of pertinent media targets for all campaigns, supporting the development of strategy proposals.
You
  • Over 8 years of experience in the field of Publicity, preferably within a dynamic digital marketing agency setting, with a minimum of 3 years leading a PR/Publicity Team.
  • Possesses extensive experience collaborating with entertainment clients, outstanding communication skills, proficiency in managing budgets and maximizing team profits.
  • Maintains current knowledge of the ever-evolving media landscape and boasts a substantial network of industry contacts.
  • Demonstrates a proven ability to formulate and execute effective PR strategies.
  • Exhibits expertise in crisis communication management and remains composed when addressing clients and/or media during contentious issues.
  • Possesses a solid working knowledge of Google Suite, and familiarity with Mailchimp is considered advantageous.
