We are a diverse and multi-disciplinary group of approx. 60 people, including data scientists, developers and product managers.We are looking for an experienced commercial solicitor of 4 years PQE+ to play a key role in developing our Contract Counsel product.Contract Counsel revolutionises contract review for clients. Its sophisticated algorithms apply PwCs legal expertise to enable automated contract risk review; delivering ground breaking efficiency savings and improved risk management across areas like commercial contracting and legal due diligence.As a "Legal engineer", you will be responsible for training Contract Counsel and configuring it for our clients needs. The core responsibilities and attributes are:Essential: Current practicing certificate and 4 years+ PQE Significant experience in an in-house commercial legal team, with strong drafting skills Strong leadership of self- highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines, confident in managing complex stakeholder relationships Demonstrable commercial acumen The ability to use (or quickly learn how to use) new software tools to aid in training Contract Counsel Awareness of the latest trends in Legal Technologies and how emerging technologies can be used to add value and transform the the legal industry Positive, can-do attitude with the ability to adapt and work effectively in a changing environment. Eager to learn new skills and take on a variety of different tasks. A commitment to excellence evidenced through the production of high quality outputs and managing challenges. Ability to self-motivate, work independently and collaborate with others as part of a wider-team. Communicate confidently and effectively with stakeholders both in written and verbal form, with the ability to build and maintain good relationships.Desirable: Have an understanding of neuroscience and psychology and be able to incorporate this knowledge and understanding into the design of training and product functionality to deliver the most effective learning experience. Work with client facing stakeholders from all lines of service and all PwC territories globally, to identify opportunities to deliver training to clients.
