Job Description

Reed in Partnership is a public service provider specialising in skills training for the long-term unemployed, increasing employment opportunities by working with employers and providing youth services.What the role is about:TheContinuous Improvement Executivehas responsibility for ensuring quality improvementactivities are embedded throughoutReed in Partnership and Reed Wellbeing,to ensure that the quality and performanceprogrammesimproveson an ongoing basis andthatCommissionerand Participantneeds are met.The role will also work with the wider Continuous Improvement Team to support with any relevant Continuous Improvement activities and projects. To ensure thisrole is successful the Continuous Improvement Executive will need toquickly build up strong relationships with Operational teams, as well as other support functions, such as Compliance,HRand L&D.Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the running and management of continuous improvement projects utilising the Lean Six Sigma methodology.
  • Support Operations to implementand usequality improvement tools and processes,includingobservationsof delivery (remote and face to face),Participant journey checks, feedback surveysandManagement Information.
  • Analysing trends fromquality and continuous improvementprocesses and supporting Operations in the sharing of best practice and driving improvements.
  • Support the wider Continuous Improvement team tomanage theSelf-Assessment andQuality Improvement Plan processes.
  • Support Operational teams to analyse Management Information to identify trends in delivery.
  • Where applicable deliver training, coaching or support sessions (remote or face to face) to Operational teams to support the understanding of quality and delivery requirements of the programme.

  • Experience of delivering group and/or one to one training and/or IAG.
  • Experience delivering high quality written materials using MS Word, briefings, reports,guidance documentsthat are clear, accurate and concise.
  • Intermediateknowledge of MS Excel, data manipulation, pivot tables and data presentation.
  • Ability to work under pressure with short timescales.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent decision-making skills.
  • Educated to degree level.
  • Understanding of quality improvement activities.
  • Experience ofPublicallyFundedemployabilityservice delivery, either from within a government or local authority team orfunction or contracted service.
  • GCSE English Language at a minimum of a Grade B (or equivalent Level 2 qualification). OR achievement of a Level 2 in Literacy Assessment at interview stage.
  • Desirable Skills & Experience:
  • Experience of using Lean Six Sigma with aYellow orGreenBelt qualification.
  • Teaching or training qualification (level 3).
  • Experience ofthe Governments Welfare to Work sector.
