It will deliver a programme of ground-breaking new commissions with the ambition of reachingmillions; bringing people together and promoting the UKs creativity to the world. Ten creative projects have been selected following an extensive R&D programme and rigorous assessment process to form the Festivals commissioned programme.Led by Chief CreativeOfficer, Martin Green CBE, a new organisation, Festival 2022 Ltd, has been established in Birmingham to curate, manage and promote the Festival; working with strategic delivery bodies within each nation to devise, deliver and commission the programme. TheFestival will demonstrate the important role that creativity plays in our lives, as well as providing unforgettable experiences. This investment comes at a time of need for sectors impacted by the global pandemic and will support the creation of work and jobs.ABOUTYOUWe are looking for a creative and flexible content & social manager to tell our stories across channels and projects, helping us grow the 59 Productions brand and deliver an ambitious digital strategy for our Festival UK 2022 commission. This role requiressomeone both data-driven and adept at creative brand storytelling. You will lead on content creation across all channels, from concept to measurement, testing and delivering shareable content. You should also be able to produce engaging written, audio andvideo content yourself. Your content will have a measurable impact on brand awareness, audience development and digital engagement. Youll also cultivate our social community, delivering and executing a community management strategy. Like us, you will be drivenby a passion for telling stories, and for being part of a piece of work that aims to amaze audiences and those who engage with the project at all levels.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead on the creation, execution and analysis of content across all channels for theFestival UK 2022 commission, taking a holistic approach to ensure we speak to the right audiences at the right times, and devising a bespoke strategy in each of the five cities where our project will take place Lead and execute 59 Productions organic socialmedia & community management strategy, including robust and agile analysis Content creation/production: photography & video production skills, excellent writer, effective interviewer, skilled editor Actively monitor and handle outreach across all social mediachannels including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok, and others as needed Email marketing: produce, send and analyse emails, and work with partners to leverage their mailing lists Manage and update the dedicated project website and 59 websiteas needed Identify and create new ways to enhance engagement and following on social channels Increase organic traffic through blog partnerships, influencers, and audience stories Leverage listening tools to monitor trends and identify real-time opportunitiesfor engagement Collaborate with the Marketing Consultant and Festival Marcomms team on strategic initiatives, social messaging, and calendar planning Develop and maintain our social playbook and brand guidelines Work closely with our partners Stemettes andthe Poetry Society to oversee a collaborative content calendar Work closely with the Creative Team as well as 59s in-house Design, Producing and Technical teams to align on content as the project evolves Champion and promote inclusion and accessibility acrossall aspects of engagement Actively engage in the projects vision and policies regarding equal opportunities and diversity, inclusion, sustainability, health and safety, evaluation and monitoring Manage paid social campaigns, alongside the Marketing consultantand FestivalSKILLS At least 2-3 years experience creating & developing brand content for omnichannel marketing campaigns across forms, including written, photography, audio & video An in-depth understanding of organic social media platforms best practicesUnderstanding of digital marketing tactics, including SEO, email marketing and web analytics Experience measuring brand awareness and ROI of content-driven campaigns Experience using social listening tools Experience with community management Experience withinfluencer marketing Commitment to championing representation and inclusion at every level with a proven ability to work with people from a wide range of backgroundsLOCATION This role will be partly based out of our London office, partly remote/home working;you will need to be willing to travel around the country, as well as able to work flexibly some weekends and evenings.
