Job Description

FutureGov is a team of creative people with a broad mix of design skills who are passionate about supporting health and public sector organisations with digital transformation, service design and community development to radically improve outcomes for communities in the 21st century.As part of a growing team, you’ll work closely with the Head of Comms & Marketing, marcomms team and colleagues across the organisation to support us in sharing engaging and compelling content that showcases the impactful stories of our clients and partners.In this role, you’ll develop your understanding of comms strategy, brand implementation and marketing while developing your domain knowledge within the public sector. You’ll have the opportunity to use a range of creative storytelling techniques and content marketing strategies to capture knowledge, pitch ideas, manage assets, craft & edit content and publish for end-to-end content marketing through varied channels. As part of our in-house team, you will work closely with the project teams to understand their work, capture the knowledge and transmit the story to our wider audience. You will work alongside some of the most prominent minds in the industry, for a company that is leading 21st-century organisation design.About youYou’ll be a creative thinker and storyteller who understands the power of the story and the impact of tailored and engaging content. You’ll enjoy the process of learning to understand the details of our work and the complex problems we’re trying to solve, with an interest in building on those skills to develop the ability to visualise the wider landscape and building a supporting narrative around it.Ideally, you’ll have some experience in comms, content marketing or digital marketing, capable of writing and uploading content across various platforms.   • Supporting comms team with strong writing experience to produce and curate compelling content in the form of blog posts and case studies, undertaking regular research to inspire content
  • Supporting implementation and launch of our new website, developing skills in SEO and managing detailed content migration
  • Lead social media strategy, developing engaging content that amplifies our stories and themes, testing and reporting on new techniques and approaches
  • Support exploration of future comms and employee experience operating model, looking into new methods of internal and external community engagement and management in this new remote and hybrid environment that challenges "business as usual"
  • Lead the creation of our weekly and monthly newsletters, curating internal and external content
  • You’ll learn
  • how to implement a content strategy through the creation of short- and long-form content
  • how to use a CMS system and basic HTML to publish and edit content across varied digital platforms
  • SEO techniques to inform content creation and content marketing
  • what makes a strong marketing brief, for everything from asset creation to event proposals
  • Experience & skills
  • strong copy editing skills and a keen eye for detail
  • experience using data insight and metrics to track results and ability to communicate outcomes
