Container & Commercial Shipping Clerk - Mon-Fri 9 / 5.30Import & ExportCommercial and Transport Coordinator (Deepsea section)Dealing with quotes/bookings/queries on Cross trades businessIssuing Quotations for Containers, Break bulk and other Specialise cargoesFollowing up quotations madeTake and process bookings via telephone and email, directly from UK customers/Traders and Local agentsConfirming Booking details back to the customer, informing them if necessary of special requirements or restrictions, ensuring Credit worthiness.Entering Bill of Lading details and adding where needed manifests details into the companies bespoke systemDealing with COD, Switch Bills, Indemnities for cargo release.General enquiries relating to quotes/bookings/schedulingDealing with and resolving queries promptlyProcessing and adding all transport data for container deliveriesProcessing PIN and Badge releases in Destin8Other functionsGeneral client liaisonLiaising with the Port and Port officesGeneral departmental clerical work.Any other tasks that management may deem necessary to full fill the Job role.General expectationGood verbal, written, communication and organisational skills.Provide prompt customer service at all times in accordance with company expectations.Maintain good Client and Staff liaison.Remain calm under pressure.To be able to work towards and achieve targets as part of a team or individually.Hours 09:3017:30hrs
