Job Description

The PwC Technology Consulting (Oracle) practice is looking to recruit exceptional individuals with significant experience in Oracle ERP technology and/or process. As a Manager within our Oracle Technology Competency youll work with the latest technologiesand big-name companies on projects that are driving the future of those organisations. Our Managers are expected to play key roles on client engagements, assisting in creating new opportunities and contributing to knowledge sharing and the development of ourpeople.Youll be a part of PwCs Technology Consulting practice which has a breadth of capability across all of the Emerging Technologies, with our one Firm approach youll be joining forces with like minded individuals to develop truly unique and differentiatedsolutions for our clients.Being mobile is essential as youll work on client projects that could be anywhere in the country - or even the world. The same goes for your skill set - intellectually curious, dynamic and the ability to challenge the traditionalapproaches to deliver real transformation.Ultimately, an open mind to take advantage of all of the opportunities on offer is essential.About the roleAs part of PwCs Technology Consulting practice, we have the privilege of acting as trusted advisors to a diverseand expansive client base, spanning multiple geographies and industries. This means that we have a real opportunity to enhance and refine our clients businesses through the use of ever evolving technology. Of course, this will only be possible if we havethe right people, with the right skills and the ability to push the boundaries of how new technologies can support future business models. Thats where you come in. As a Manager, you will blend a natural interest in technology and finance to help develop creativeideas into solutions. Your primary focus will be on finance and procurement ERP technology, therefore a proven understanding of these areas and the underlying Oracle technologies to support them is crucial.Our industry leading methodologies play a major partin finance transformation programmes for our clients, and were always looking to stay one step ahead. This means youll be working alongside other experts in emerging technologies (e.g. Machine Learning, Robotic Process Automation, ChatBots) to deliver innovativesolutions to solve important business problems for our clients.You will be working with thought leaders combining deep industry expertise with a passion for Oracle and technology. Our team is made up of experts like you, focussed on Oracle technologies. Asa consultant, you will blend technical skills with creativity to develop ideas into solutions. Through our industry leading methodologies you will work closely with our clients to transform their business. As you grow as a consultant in PwC you will be expectedto perform additional responsibilities such as supporting proposals, business case development, requirements gathering, workshop delivery, business process design, functional and technical design, vendor selection, systems build, test and deploy, stakeholdermanagement, change management, people/line management.Whether you engage with our clients as an advisor, reviewer or resource on an Oracle project, you will strive to deliver quality, value and satisfaction to our clients.Our Managers should aspire to be futureleaders, care passionately about the development of themselves and others, and deliver exceptional client value.RequirementsThe following experience and skills are required for this role;Essential experience; A minimum of 3 full lifecycle implementation projectscovering ERP Financial modules A minimum of 1 full lifecycle implementation on Oracle ERP CloudExperience in the majority of the following O2C modules/skill areas:Oracle ReceivablesOracle CollectionsOracle Cash ManagementTrading Community ArchitectureOracleTaxSubledger AccountingDemonstrable experience in several of the following activities on O2C projects;Requirements gatheringFit/gap analysisSolution designFunctional configurationConference Room Pilots / Prototype demonstrationsTestingIntegrationData MigrationTrainingPostGo Live Support Professional skills;Ability to work independently, and as part of a team, with potentially multiple assignmentsCommitment to personal development in relevant skillsStrong troubleshooting and problem solving skillsStrong written, oral and presentationskillsStrong Client relationship skillsWorkshop and meeting facilitation skillsUnderstanding of Business Intelligence Reporting Desirable skills / qualifications;Broad functional skills across the Oracle ERP ModulesOracle Specialism or CertificationBroad cross-industryexperienceUnderstanding of the required data schemas to assist with migration of data from legacy systemsUnderstanding of the standard integration mechanisms to O2C modules, and experience of other non-standard approaches to integration related to O2C.Experienceof enabling and reporting from O2C using standard OTBI functionalityConsulting In Consulting we deliver practical, far-sighted advice that gets straight to the heart of clients business issues and delivers amazing results by helping our clients improve theway they operate, reduce costs, manage risks, leverage talent or fundamentally change the way they do business, the work you do will be all about helping organisations of all shapes and sizes work smarter and grow faster.
