Your role Our consultants work in variety of projects to solve our Healthcare and Life Sciences clients toughest data problems by combining industry experience, consulting and analytical skills; with data management capabilities to create a lasting impact. From devising a Data Strategy, implementing new ways of working to govern and manage data more efficiently and building the foundations to exploit the exciting new opportunities that advanced analytics, AI, Big Data and automation present. We need the very best people to join us and strengthen our Healthcare and Life Sciences team even further. That is where you come in. Our projects and clients vary greatly and your responsibility will differ slightly based on the focus of the client engagement and your skillset, but could include and may require you to: • Help our Healthcare and Life Sciences clients define their long term Data Strategy to ensure that data is managed and used as a valuable asset • Support client workshops and conduct stakeholder interviews to capture requirements and assess a clients current Data Governance capabilities in order to identify gaps to be addressed • Define a clients to-be state, which will involve the design of Data Governance Target Operating Models (TOM) through which data is efficiently managed within the organization, securing its trust and accountability • Support the client in the creation of a business case to deliver Data Strategy & Governance (to-be) improvements • Work on projects to embed TOMs, Data Governance frameworks and data capabilities in the client organisation in a sustainable way • Assess and improve the clients Data Quality measures and processes • Analyse metamodels and data sets and define a data catalogue of key data assets within a Big Data / Cloud Analytics platform • Understand the importance of stakeholder and change management and incorporate it into the implementation of Data Governance frameworks and new ways of working • Support the development of client bids and presentations of proposals • Work effectively in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution Your work, your choice At Deloitte we believe the best impact is the value we add, not the hours we sit at our desk. Location: Your home office will be London, but this client-facing role provides lots of opportunity for travel in the UK and overseas. Your professional experience We are looking for candidates with both technical and business focused skills and experience who can articulate the outcomes and value of their work. • Ability to demonstrate stakeholder management skills and collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams or projects to achieve common goals • Competent use of Microsoft packages, particularly Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel • Have a keen interest in data and experience of operating in a client or business facing role • Demonstrate an ability to think and address challenges in a creative manner • Strong written, communication and presentation skills Candidates will hold work experience in some of the following areas: • Life Sciences and / or Healthcare industry or client experience • Business and Data Analysis skills • Master Data Management, reference data and management across a data lifecycle • Data Catalogue, metadata management and Data Governance tools (e.g. Collibra, Information Axon, Elation) • Measuring Data Quality according to standards and rules • Data Governance Principles and Policies, and Data Security to protect sensitive data • Business Intelligence and Reporting and associated tools (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau or Qlik) • Data Integration and Data Migration (including ETL / ELT and tools such as Informatica) • Process improvement, Process and Operating Model design and requirements / information gathering techniques. Candidates will have hands on experience with one or more technologies relevant to these areas. These may or may not include open source technologies.
