A pioneering tech company working in the world of computer vision and synthetic data is looking for a Computer Vision Software Engineer to join their team. Working in their R&D team youll support cutting edge computer vision projects optimizing and advancinginnovative solutions to drive their core product forward.What youll be doing:Youll work to support their researchers by giving them the necessary resources, such as data and tools, to quickly and effectively put their ideas into practice. Using both C++ and Python programming youll look to understand and build upon existing code,as well as create solutions for specific issues to improve speed and ensure the team works to write efficient code. Youll also be tasked with quickly creating and testing prototypes in Python and optimizing the performance of code by running it on both CPUand GPU. The main goal of the role is to support the team to ensure that the software they develop that is of high quality and suitable for use in a production environment.What youll need to apply: The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of relevant experience in Computer Science or a related field Strong proficiency in C++ programming is a must, including experience with CUDA and the ability to write efficient and parallelized kernels with optimal memory access Familiarity with tools such as CMake, Linux, and Git is also required Experience working with Python as well as deployment experience with AWS and Docker would be a real bonus. Past projects working with Computer Vision would also be amazing. A proven track record of working collaboratively as part of a team and following established best practices.
